People perform voluntary as it is an opportunity to exercise their skills and apply their talents. They may actually want to practice what they have learnt at work in a social or a community environment. Or they may want to learn new ways of doing things that they may use at work. For these reasons, volunteers whose assignments best utilize their abilities, skills, talents and interests are among the most enthusiastic and committed in their organisations.

SCLC requires male and female volunteers in the following fields:
(1) Publicity and Distribution
(2) Artwork and Designing
(3) Internet support
(4) Registration and Admission
(5) Support workers
